Calling 110 Owners - front seat belt mount check.
I've been trying to get to the bottom of this for a while now.
On my double cab where the tail end of the front seat belt attaches to the floor by the seat box, should there be or not a corresponding reinforcement plate or similar underneath through which the mount bracket attaches. Mine is attached purely by a bolt through to a nut and small washer. The photo is of the mount bracket 'topside' by the seat box. Would someone mind looking at their belt mount to see if it is the same? Call me paranoid, but it seems very inadequate for a seat belt mount.

With thanks
Rob

I don't know about the arrangements on a TD5 but I changed drivers seat belt 2 weeks ago on my 2008 110 it has two bolts through the floor with a washer and nut no reinforcement plate. It has been MOT tested and OK Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to Censored us off.

Thanks. There seem to be different arrangements?
At least mine appears standard, barring the bolt that needs replacing. Just seemed an inadequate mount to me, and was wondering if something was missing!

The 2 bolts going through the floor actually fasten through the main sill rail which is about 4mm steel channel running front to back below the doors/pillars. It is plenty strong enough.
