Any location that doesn't have a very thick density or overly contained.
I.e. Not under the battery for example. |

Out of interest as I dont have one ... Does the Skytag not have the ability to take a remote GPS receiver?
So box could be anywhere but the GPS receiver somewhere more suited to picking up signal? |

Thank you for your order.
If you take a look at the Skytag website you'll see that they successfully tracked vehicles that were below decks on a cross channel ferry However we have tried installing units under the battery and the coverage was 'patchy'. They will work through Puma dash boards, under seats, through roof skins etc. If you are unsure of your desired location try fitting the unit 'temporarily' on a long 'fly lead' and then phone up Skytag and ask them to test pick up I don't think the unit can be used with a separate receiver, a call to Skytag will answer your question |

Hi Steve, FCX ( matt ? )
Thanks for the replies, My question has been answered, now at least I don't have to worry affecting it's function/capabilities with my planned location Cheers, Nick |
