In my opinion this is one of the best Green Lanes left in the country because of its mix of terrain, difficulty and length.
I’ll skip over the bit where I had to get my brother to drive up a section I couldn't! On this trip it had tipped it down the night before and for some reason the stone step at the start was a lot easier than usual but the rest was trickier. All the more challenging on this day because we had to coax up a shiny and bog standard Discovery 2. Check out my YouTube channel for green laning and Land Rover "how to" videos. |

Nice!
Thanks for sharing! I drove that lane in the easter weekend of 2005! But don't remember it being so tricky!! |

Yeah whenever I suggest in the title of videos of this lane that it's extreme, I get a lot of people saying they drove it 'years ago' and it was dead easy. They drove it in standard trucks etc.
After rain the water fair rips through that lane and I can imagine it's eroded and washed it out significantly in the last 5 years or so. Check out my YouTube channel for green laning and Land Rover "how to" videos. |
