Come on Pov, why do you need three batteries? And I do hope your trip is a memorable one for all the right reasons. I will be very interested to know how the vehicle goes, warts and all. I am anticipating some final photos of your set up before you head off. You know the sort: vehicle loaded to the gunwales ...

I didn't initially want three batteries, but one standard 100a/h deep cycle wouldn't fit in the space under the seat. So to get it up anywhere near 100a/h, ARB worked out they could fit two 55a/h in there...I didn't want to pay for the extra battery when they had quoted me for one!!!So, I kicked up a fuss and got the second battery for free seen as I was spending heaps there in the first place... Now its really tight in there and the batteries can't move at all...Going to be camping 5 days straight with no power so I'm hoping the batteries keep the fridge going! Will keep you posted with pics as the time nears and hope your not trying to put the mockers on me about the trip being memorable for the right reasons!!!! Povman.. |
