Just to add my two pence worth.
I have just installed a cob led festoon in the interior of my TD5. They are positive/negative sensitive and do work with the dimming lamp. Extremely bright !!! Don't look into them uncovered. And only £2 each. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=271408286325 I have seen on others Defenders COB led lights used as daytime running lights too which are only £7 a pair !!! : http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=161178786238 As fitted on a ,lupo, http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?/to...d-project/ Not really into DRL but seem a solution to lighting up my D90 tub |

I was looking at replacing my interior lights with LED's.
These are £1.29 and free shipping. I have bought other things from this website with no problems so not worried about the delivery time as they do arrive. Is 39mm the correct length? Has anyone fitted anything similar? http://www.banggood.com/2X-39mm-12-SMD-LED...13955.html |

Never use festoon bulbs but all I can say is that after fitting the 36 SMD LED light panel illumination of the cab at night is like daylight if it was any brighter you would need sun glases. I have had the leds in place for over a year and still going strong I bought a pack of five worked out at just over a £1.00 each and took two day to arrive from here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12-15-18-24-36-4...488wt_1139 |
