86 Defender
With the move out into the Scottish countryside it was time to put a bucket list car in garage.
Due to all the running around with the new house we completely forgot that my wife's company car was going back in October so had to get another car reasonably quickly.
We had ta look on Ebay but a lot of the cars were not local so had no opportunity to give them the once over.
Managed to spot a Defender 90 for sale in Glasgow, after a general look around it appeared sound, confirmed by a local garage. So due to the price and demand we had to pounce quick !!
It has had a replacement engine so currently running a 300TDi.

Strange thing is the dog loves it, but does not like our BMW 335D X-Drive Tourer now !!! Suppose that's what happens when you have a working cocker - knows what a proper vehicle is !!
Couple of little niggles which will need to get sorted out but would not be a landie without them:
- door niggles
- passenger seat runner does not stop seat going forward/back
- needs a service
So Defender is being popped across to Whites to get the service down and some of the other issues sorted.
Currently loving the Defender as its certainly a different proposition to the cars that we have previously owned.
Like everyone else, looking forward to doing a couple of enhancements to it.

Unfortunately its not the view out of the new house but a reservoir close by.
