Great countryside and views.... we are heading down to the Ceret area (very loose plan) in the Pyrenees in a few weeks; not as far south as you..... any recommendations for easy routes with great views? Beware the lollipop of mediocrity. one lick and you suck forever!

Thank you Simon, whoaaa ceret is just about 3 hours of my area,, I know a nice route from ceret to Massanet de Cabrenys,
nice views and trees too. Have a look at this link if you have GPS try to download it . It's moderate and with your 110 it's easy as pie. Have you got a larger picture of your landy? , it seems very nice. http://es.wikiloc.com/wikiloc/view.do?id=1111110 Have a good time there. |

Hi Albert thanks for the heads up on this route.... will try and give it a go..... will also sort out some pictures. Would love to say it was all my own work but I bought it earlier this year already prepped from a gentleman with a lot more skill, knowledge and patience than me I am the lucky one benefiting from his hardwork!! Just wondering do you know if we are OK wild camping in the Pyrenees? Hi Simon ok, about pictures. This weekend we will go to do this track again. Concerning wild camping you can do it but I recommend you to pitch the tent at 7 -8 pm and in the morning take the tent down at 7 Am. This way you won't have problems. If you finally go have a great time.
We will keep in touch.. Cheers Albert |

Hi again. today we went to do the route maçanet de cabrenys to ceret. it was nice .here are some pictures. look at them in the gallery .Enjoy them. it's a very easy route. I recommend you do the route to "mines de talc". look at the sign on the picture, but this track is a little bit hard but with very nice views. If you go direction to maçanet de cabrenys the turning is on the right hand. If you finally go have a great time!. |
