I had my defender stolen a couple of weeks ago and the scumbags have been back twice since then and attempted to break into the house! The other half is so scared now we are having to move, one of the attempts was at 11am! I am currently watching ebay and gumtree etc for parts of mine appearing on there. I'll let you know if I see anything tomb raider related.

Unbelievable ! what is it with this scum thats out there !
Dont think i`ll ever get hold of another Tomb Raider as good a condition as mine, only 35,000 miles too. I was reading earlier that the Defender is now the number 0ne most nicked car in the UK, going to Africa and the eastern block countries mainly for parts or farms |

Exkay120,
Seems to be a local theme in this part of Kent to steal county station wagons at the moment. Mate had his 110 csw broken into the Friday before this in Knockholt, near Orpington. He has the registration details of the vehicle involved. More info about this vehicle came to light this week to its location. And I have just seen it locally to me this evening. Mate reckons it was the X-Eng ignition lock that kept it on the driveway!! However unless caught in the act can't do anything about these 'above the law' folk !! My father had his 90 csw attempted stolen a few weeks before thar date from Swanley also close to Orpington. Some similar folk are in prison for similar crimes locally. If you want to chat drop me a pm. Peter Kent LRC. |
