Better than new!
As of today I know what people mean with better than new when selling their car.
Today I discovered that the rear floor plate was loose.
Well of al the many screws that run along the rear bulkhead just 'one' was fitted right. I know it's a car made by men wearing tattoos, but come on... How can someone f-u that many screws fixing my floor plate?! Rolling Eyes

Still love my Defender, especially now the bottom is water proof again...

I myself have a growing collection of tattoo's and i take exception to that comment. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes The fear of death is the most unjustified of all fears, for there's no risk of accident for someone who's dead.

My 130 that I am currently converting to an overland vehicle, well I recon that around 30% of the original bodywork bolts were loose, and there are quite a few holes with no bolts.

Makes you think if you had the time would be to buy a brand new last of the run 15MY.

Then while everything is nice and new strip it, galvanise the chassis & bulkhead and rebuild it brilliantly, copper grease, duralac, stainless, LEDs, ground up sound proofing.

Great project but would take forever!

Andrew, good to know I'd better check the whole car for lose nuts and bolts before it falls apart whilst looking at it.

iPints, my sincere apologies and don't worry, I do like tattoos, as long as they are not put on my matchstick looking body. Laughing
