Winch
Hi Guys thinking of getting one of these when over in Canada in October....Has anyone got any feed back or any experience of this Winch or thoughts....They look a good bit of kit and a good price too ?

Never heard of em Karl but im guessing it would be ok...seems like a decent price Thumbs Up
TBH most of the winches these days all come out of the same bloody factory, if your life doesnt depend on it then i would take a gamble but i would trawl the net for any info regardings quality Thumbs Up You cannot teach stupid people to do clever things

Cheers Steve.....One of the guys i go over to see works here http://ultimateoffroad.ca/shop/item.asp?itemid=198 so i will get a discount as well on the winch... as you say my life won't depend on it its just incase i ever get stuck so it will get very little use if any... but its cheaper than the same rating winch over here so would suit me fine... regarding quality i can ask some of the guys over there.... i'll also do a search Thumbs Up

Power cables to run to battery, need long 'uns for the Defender with it being under the passenger seat, not normally supplied, usually have to spec as an extra + a cut-out switch for safety Thumbs Up Andy

Grockle me old mate were allowed 61kg each as its a chartered flight 2 x 23kg bags in the hold and 1 x 15kg hand....
