So having done the crystal headlights, has anyone put led sidelights etc in? http://www.paddockspares.com/standard-size...lamps.html Are they truly plug and play (2004 td5) and are they a great improvement? Ta muchly! |

Plug and play but the RDX relay is better.
All Rdx lights on mine, very good. |

Got mine for MPS Trading (Simon), have LED sidelights, indicators and stop/tail lights.
I agree with Steve, the RDX relay is the best. Myers - Somewhere on Salisbury Plain Puma 90 Hardtop (XS Spec) |

Side repeaters are a tricky one, there is nothing on the market LED believe it or not.
You can fit LED fixtures in them but they aren't stictly legal. Other than that it's aftermarket which doesn't suit very well. Most are still running standard side repeaters and bulbs. |

And the Relay in a Puma is the top left under the access panel under the steering wheel on a RHD.

I am aware of all the benefits of LED replacements for traditional bulb units...
However, I was a little dubious about the effectiveness of doing this on my Black Mamba... Until today that is, I purchased the cheap and cheerful set of front sidelight replacements from > Ace Parts < and am stunned by the serious improvement for a simple plug & play replacement bulb... Next stop will be the Stop 'n Tail examples as that is, for me, the one weak link in the Defender's safety armoury... Rog... The GREEN One...
