Tweeter Replacements
Replaced all the speakers bar the tweeters in my puma, now they just don't cut it.

I have no idea where to start in regards to tweeters.

any recommendations that aren't going to cost the earth and advice on size? Thanks!

1" size is standard. I have Kicker tweeters but they are expensive and not available readily in the UK. There are many alternatives on the maket but go for quality. I.e. Known brands.

Do most just slot in or do you need to faff about and remove the existing casing for them to fit snug.

Im fine when it comes to bashing things with a hammer or painting something but not so hot on fiddly, delicate things like speakers! Shocked

Original tweeters just push out leaving a 1" hole. Fitting new ones depends on the manufatcurer.
If you want any further help with anything your welcome to drop me a PM. Thumbs Up

A 40mm hole saw was a perfect size for my focal tweeters, you only need to cut the dashboard foam, then a small hole through the metal for the wire. Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.
