There are always two sides to this. The good side is, someone else will probably enjoy here next You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Hi Markbonz
I appreciate you may want to avoid being too descriptive with the 'quirks that just irritate the hell out of you' when your looking for a sale, wanting something with 'more comfort and less cumbersome', 'p/x to a double cab pick up', I'm confused... Hi just to explain
I always have had nissan navara, l200 old and new shape or rodeos over the years all autos more comfort etc changing to auto Vw amarok Had defenders as 2 nd motors thought the more modern puma model would be jack of all trades and more usable but as said fun at first but usual defender traits become annoying I no on a landrover forum I'm swearing when going back to a pick up truck and the die hards will not get it. I would get a disco 4 but cannot run as a commercial with seats in back or claim VAT back (I no you can fit after market seats but they look non factory in the commercial model) I won't go into details of what annoys me as it will wind people up, not fussed about putting people off buying as it's being part exchanged. |

Fair play Mark
I had a Isuzu Rodeo Denver Max with all the goodies and it was great. But I have also loved the four Defenders and find the older and narlier I get the more we are suited. The Vw amorak does look great. Hope you get an older defender to play with on the weekend |

Markbonz, its a funny old world you know. I have had a Rodeo auto and a No-lux manual, and for my own obscure reasons I would not buy one again and much prefer the Defender. Every one to their own, it all makes the world go round. Good luck with the sale. My Defender and travels

Sure is a lovely looking Defender. You should get top dollar for that.
