Well my 2004 bulkhead has the same 'factory' hammerite finish to it!

I had a quick look today at a 63 plate and the paint looked very similar? I take it that this is the norm? The orange peel effect...no, that's definitely not normal! I hope (and I really hope!) that it's the pictures making it look worse than it is! An engine to TDi for!

A chap near me has a 90 in Barolo black, and ive fallen in love with it! just wish I had seen it this time last year, would have had my 110 done in it  |

The bulk head finish is different to the body paint on all defenders
Don't worry as this is totally normal and always looks worse when photographed  |
