Trust me I am not teasing, I want more pics and info too

Simon is drip feeding me the photos!!!

To be fair I want him to concentrate on the job but it would great to have the photos and a history of its transformation as I am hoping I can keep this for a long time and maybe even pass it down the family as we have done previously with other vehicles

Joking aside I haven't even driven a 2014 2.2 so was the improvement just a performance thing?

A good tune by a good tuning company makes a huge difference to day-to-day driving pleasure, not talking just speed but the better flexibility and how well they cruise and cope with loads and hills etc.

Mine was from BAS but Alive are also awesome as well. Either will give you a good tune.

Once sorted can I suggest the rear ARB from Alive, again it will make a huge difference to cornering once mated with good shocks. BM52

Thanks BM52

I have tuned vehicles before so appreciate it could help a number of things

Was interested to know if the 2.2 is lumpy or hesitant as standard? I know sometimes the standard tune focuses on MPG and emissions to the detriment of the drivability of the vehicle

The above image is a dyno print out of an Alive remapped 2.2 puma defender in Aus.

The remap makes a big big difference to the drivability of the car, there's more torque available lower down the rev range and it's a lot more responsive on the throttle.

Oh and you can make it go like sh*t off a shovel when you want too!!! Twisted Evil

You're more than welcome to try mine if you are in Scotland at any point!! Thumbs Up

Added:
The MPG figures are actually better after the remap if you drive economically!
The engines are ok in standard fettle but you'll find yourself hustling it along, the ramp makes it more tractable and a more relaxed drive, for instance we drove from Birmingham to Reigate through various speed restrictions and heavy traffic and I didn't change down from 6th gear until we hit the junction on the M25 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon
