I've seen it done, but it's bloody awkward by all accounts! The best option I've seen is to to fit a Puma dash, but fit a Td5 instrument binnacle. Looked nice and seemed to work well. An engine to TDi for!

A few people have done it now you just need to print out the diagrams and work through it. You'll need to be very competent at wiring. I think the companies that have done it commercially aren't going to share the info too freely unfortunately.

Hi Nick
Have a look here, it seems that they have the instruments working over in the US http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic31443....=puma+dash Cheers John 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon 1971 Bowler Tomcat 88 4.2 V8 Auto 2022 110 D250 XS Edition - Gone 2024 110 D250 X-Dynamic HSE |

Nick, I'm an electrician so as long as I can get all the information the wiring shouldn't be a problem.
If its possible to get the heater to work as well as it does in a puma then all the other hard work will be worth while!! |

Hello all,
I’ve just found this thread. I’m doing the same. Tdci to 300 tdi. I’m also going auto. Did anyone find a wiring diagram? Or suss out the can bus issue for the dash? Thanks Dave Defender 90 softop (in bits) Range Rover Hybrid SVAutobiography Discovery 3 HSE Kawasaki ZX12R |
