We've had a 3.0 which was ok but the 3.6 tdv8 is miles better.

Thanks Camelman,

A good friend loves the engine in Bmw salons and I'm thinking that it may be a good candidate for an engine conversion in a Defender ( hence my intial post in the tech section)

we got a bmw m57 engine for sale from an 04 plate. complete with looms, pipes, ECU, auto gearbox and full service history i think. Smile
