Read my lips, these things are going to become a real hassle for various reasons.
Matter of fact, it is illegal to fly them here în Geneva without permission, due to the airport being close to town. You have to seek permission, which involves police, filing a flight plan, etc... The pieces of this one that came down in town hard, were quickly picked up, and these gents then went up in smoke.... I am waiting for the first one to come down on our land, don't think I will give it back to the owner without drowning it in the pond or accidentally stepping on it.... You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

Basically 21st century vermin!!! Thankfully they're not overly popular in our neck of the woods yet but I'm sure it's only a matter of time before a major incident is caused by a drone! 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon

There are some things only birds should be able to do. As the human body becomes less and less important, technology and the problems it comes with will get out of control as society fails to keep up... Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Responsible model RC aircraft users have insurance http://bmfa.org/Info/Articles/Knowyourinsu...fault.aspx so I guess drones would be treated the same from a liability for damage etc. Transmission frequency, local bylaws and airspace regulations will also apply to these drones.
As for privacy issues now that will be interesting, it seems to be covered by Human Rights Act under your rights to privacy. Article 8 of the Act entitled “The Right to Respect for Private and Family Life, Home and Correspondence” and the normal Harassment Laws. - Plenty of opportunity for Lawyers to make some more money.
