Then everyone keeps asking me why some of the rivets arent painted behind the rear door. But after a visit to the factory I know now.

Off Topic I've often wondered why too, can you let me know the answer?

You just had the wrong colour D3:

The D3 and the Defender are completely different cars and fullfill completely different purposes, so I have both. Mr. Green

I had both Thumbs Up , As a family motor the D3 is better on the road, more practical, more refined...but the Defender keeps me looking back once i lock and walk away, i just love it. Thumbs Up You cannot teach stupid people to do clever things

The reason you keep looking back is merely to double check you've not left the new addition to your family in the back!!! Nowt more I reckon....

The rivets have no paint because the panels are painted before they are put together. So they riveted later then not colour. Its a good way to tell if ones had respray.

If you say so I have 3 Land Rovers. A D3 and 2 90's one road legal and a donor.

A D3 is a car like a RR sport etc. But a G4 is a Land Rover. If you like the waves you know what I mean. Mr. Green Roel

Got myself a snorknel this week have to get a rivnut tool now. Got to get it on before billing and get my signs done.

Really thinking about de-cat pipe now after hearing a very sweet sounding 90 hardtop at a show recently.

Mine sounds well sweet with the decat and performs well too Thumbs Up
And a remap is not much better Question If you have £500 to throw away go for it , but to be honest you get a tiny bit more power that's it Question Ask Alive tuning for the decat nice bit of kit grade 304 stainless... He gets my vote next day delivery NEVER TAKE LIFE SERIOUSLY. NOBODY GETS OUT ALIVE ANYWAY

dont you think remaps are worth bothering with. I have been looking at peoples posting on here saying they save about 3-4mpg. So I got my calculator out and and reckon i'd save £800 over the 40000miles I normally keep my landies. BAS has offered to try before you buy with his which sounds tempting. But re-map will have to wait as I need money else where. But decat pipe is cheap
