Saw this parked here in town this morning. What colour is that? A blue I have not seen before, quite nice actually.

Never knew the more recent Pumas came in that colour. Or is it a Twisted special colour?

Indeed, it's a strange one! Very much Arles Blue (The old duck egg as it was known!), but I've never seen anything past a 200 Tdi in it! I quite like it if I'm honest! An engine to TDi for!

+1 looks definitely like Marine Blue - my 1st LR was a new 1973 Series 3 in Marine Blue with a Limestone hard top and wheels.

Absolutely spot on with Marine Blue!!
They are bought in whatever colour is available and promptly stripped down and resprayed. It is indeed a retro edition more often seen in bahama gold when done by them but looks nice and subtle in the marine blue with the series light surrounds etc. etc. Just a shame it's not on the limestone rostyles. I love them!! |

IMO the wheels were the least appealing on this blue Twisted Defender. I think it would have been much nicer if it would have had been on HD Wolf wheels painted in the same limestone as the roof.

Twisted are making some lovely Defenders lately, just needs the white bits like the roof in limestone for a true classic look Defender puma dormobile camper |

Exactly two weeks later than the Twisted encounter, when going window shopping in Geneva city center this morning, we saw another blue 110 parked in town this morning....
