I thought that brand new parts are exactly that - 'New'. Take off parts do not usually qualify as 'New'. They might possibly be described as 'looking as new' or as 'unmarked and in almost new condition'. If you have any doubts speak to your local trading standards officers down at the Council. Trades Descriptions Act and all that ........... "Caveat Emptor" as the bloke at the Tuesday market might say. |

Excellent site, all Departments/Products clearly shown, & easily accessed, & some very good items there,...Price?...Ya gets what ys pays for,...IMHO, of course.
Well Done, Pickles. Just thinking,..while I'm here, I might as well ask a question. We have a MY13 Defender 90, & we've been thinking eventually that we might lower it. I note that you have, what would appear to be for us, pretty much ideal,...2" lowering springs (adjusted to give level F-R ride height", Bilstein B6 Shocks, & good old Aussie Superpro bushes. So, a couple of questions, I've heard it said that lowering X 2" will cause a drive line vibration, requiring a "different" drive shaft? Which level of bushes to you use, as I would've thought that bushes with less compliance could cause a harsher ride for a vehicle mainly used "on road"? Also, I wouldn't want a vehicle suspension continually hitting the bump stops, so with a 2" drop, is this a problem? Thanks. |

Hi Pickles,
Thanks for the nice feedback on the site. Appreciate it. The 2" lowering Kit we do in combination with the B6 Dampers gives great handling and a smooth ride. No trouble with vibration and bump stops. We have sold nearly 100 cars this year with this setup. If you want to go one step further you could add the B16 Kit which gives you the ability to soften up the ride at the touch of a button. If you need any more info please feel free to email. Regards Simon UT |
