I reckon the best option is to mask it and paint it yourself using black plasti-kote. It would look fantastic and complement your already cool defender Thumbs Up just my humble opinion

Quite agree about the painting - just a little more fiddly than it first appears. The checker plate runs under the rubber rim around the lid - to do a proper job would need to remove all of that before working on it and then replacing it. It is on the list for the future though! 2013 Defender 110 XS DCPU

Picked it up yesterday - top job by Chris Thumbs Up

Makes a huge difference, particularly when travelling at faster speeds - didn't have to crank the volume up on the stereo when I hit the motorway or anything... 2013 Defender 110 XS DCPU

The weeks are 16x7, but I'm not sure on the offset.

Got them as a package with the tyres on eBay - wheels were used, but had been re-painted, tyres (285s) were brand new. Set of 5 was about £1300. Thumbs Up 2013 Defender 110 XS DCPU
