Not sure exactly what they did, not much probably. I applied sone tip-ex on some of the parts so I could see if they had been disturbed. I know they checked the tyre pressures, but have not gone underneeth yet to check the filler plugs.
It was funny in the stealers, the service manager actually said to me "if you don't reckon us, why do you come back for the service?" "Cos your paying, was my reply"
Bet the dealer does not rate you much either,,
If you "mark" components etc as stated above,, bet 95% of dealers , whether Land Rover or Independent, will tell you where you can stick your custom,
Trust has to be on both sides, and that's not the way show it
Brendan, as stated, 12 month or 12k miles, which ever is sooner,, I did mine early, as was taking a trip with it, no problem, just means the service next year comes earlier
So long as its done to manufacturer recommendations, using quality parts etc, under block exemption, any reasonable garage can perform the service, without effecting your manufacturer's warranty,, California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

I don't trust my local dealer one little bit, and they know it. As they have not provided any service paperwork, how do I know what they have done? Did they check the tyre pressures, change the oil, drain the diesel filter? Would you leave a workman alone in your house? I know I would not, like most people. So why do we let dealers take our vehicles away out of sight, where we have no idea what they are doing or how they are treating them?
On delivery it only came with one key/remote & they insisted that was normal.... It took phone calls to LR Technical to confirm they do come with two keys, then had a battle with the dealer before they finally provided another key/remote. Stupid thing was, thay had spares in stock so it would have been so easy for them to supply it when I originally queried it. There were loads of other things not done correctly, all minor, but again a battle to sort out. They just want our money and don't seem to care one little bit afterwards. Mind, If you have seen the huge country estate where the boss man lives, you can see that this attitude certainly works for him!
Got mine back from one year sevice, now there is a horrible noise each time the engine revs above idle. Took it straight back. First of all they denied they could hear the noise! After a battle they addimitted they could hear it, spent some time doing something or other, returned it to me and said "we don't know what it, but don't worry it is not dangerous" Even the lady next to me laughed commenting that if they don't know what it is, how can they know it is not dangerous?
They just wanted to get rid of me and had not tried to progress the issue further or contact LR technical. Needless to say I did not accept this.
With a garage like this, would you trust them? And no, I won't be using them again, but as the first service was free, I had to take it there.
