Cleaning injectors with a diesel purge
I want to give my (probably filthy) injectors a really good flushing so I'm considering a diesel purge (as well as additive). Normally one would disconnect the rail feed and return lines and use a couple of tubes to go to the jar of purging liquid (e.g. Liqui Moly or Wynns), running the engine on it for a few minutes.

However, since I'm changing the fuel filter anyway, wouldn't it be easier to fill the new one with purge instead of diesel and run it through the fuel system that way?

I'm suspect I'm missing some really obvious problem - hopefully someone can point out what it is Whistle

Cheers

But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...
