Front prop shaft part number
I am looking for the part number for a front prop on a 1985 B reg 2.5 NA 90 chassis no SALLDVAC7AA232-----

Found out why its hoping like a kangaroo getting it in and out of the garage!!! only half the UJ where it should be Smile

My VIN is SALLDVAD7AA29*****, according to Rimmer Brothers FRC5566P it is a Bearmach front prop for mine.
Hope they goy it right cue i've just bought one Confused

Parts book I've got shows for the 2.5 petrol/diesel front propshaft FRC5566 to VIN 252442 and FRC8390 from VIN 252443.
However on microcat the breakpoint is at VIN 252578. Either way the change was in 1986/7

That said, the flanges on both the axle and transfer box don't change and the difference between the two 'shafts seems to be the construction of the main tube, sliding joint and the size of the u/j's, all info i can find says the length of the two types is the same (650mm).

In summary, either should fit but IIRC the later type has larger (better) u/j's
