It is big and heavy but if you could figure out a way for delivery I would do my best to help out. If anybody was travelling from the north west of England to Edinburgh I would meet up.
The most differ cult part is the actual tent but I fold my rear seat down and it fits inside. Otherwise it's a roof rack. Hope this helps. Mark |

I'm interested in this, looks ideal, i was looking at roof tents, but they seem a little restrictive in that you have to pack away if you want to drive! I'm in the north east, so not too far away.
sounds like you've found a downside to this for family camping? Looks ldeal to be able to back up the landy and open the back door under the awning? Gavin |

This is what the Oztent has been designed to do. Pull up somewhere, set it up and still be free to drive away and explore.
I was silly to think that taking a baby with me would not require anymore gear. It does. I just won't be using it as I should really. I enjoyed road trip type camping were I visited lots of places, moving on every couple of days or so. The Oztent is ideal for this but it'll be a couple of years before I get back to this. Durham is not too far away. I'm sure we could meet somewhere in between and I'll make a day out of it. I need a couple more posts before I can PM. |

I didn't realise there were rules re: PMs, meeting half way certainly sounds more appealing! especially given i'll be nearer harrogate on saturday!
Is that your discovery in the background? Does it fit in the back with seats down? |

Hi Gavin.
Pm's up and running and one sent on its way to you. The has to be rules to the forums to stop anyone setting up just to do a classified ad. I think the ethos of a forum is to help each other out and pass things on to like minded people. ![]() |

Forgot to say,
My Disco with a roof box. Is does fit if I split the rear seat. Only need to lower the centre rear seat and it seems to fit perfectly. My set up is to place it on the roof next to the roof box. Then all the extras plus other camping gear goes into the roof box. I found this works really well. ![]() |
