Dave at Landyglass fitted mine.
There's two-tab screens, three-tab screens, screens with continous elements right across, screens with gaps in the elements at the sides and in the middle; poor-quality Chinese-made screens; good quality European screens, etc, etc. Just give Dave a ring. It is a brilliant mod. 2003 Td5 110 Hardtop Now a 2013 110 USW too. |

Did some more digging today and found a couple of guys that can do it, though no one locally.
Nearest one is about 90 miles away and to get someone to come down and do it will be about 70 quid. Been told it's difficult but I might have a crack at doing it myself anyway Dave |

My buddy and I fitted a screen tonight in 10 mins, frame off the truck though, plenty of fairy liquid, good cord and steady progress. Or you can do as I might have done last week and tell my insurance company that I've broken my 'heated' screen, 50 quid later, bobs your mothers brother!!...

Think I have this sorted now, have found someone about an hour away who works down this way all the time and will do the fitting for free assuming I get the screen from them.
I have been asked whether I want clear or green? I have no idea which? Dave |

Green would be a tint where clear is no tint

Hi, I used a new Craddocks cheaply seal, worst bit was getting it to sit on glass before putting in frame.. Mine was clear, but windows are green tint?..

Fitting a heated screen yourself is a risky game - the elements inside can be broken without too much trying... I broke about 3 strands in mine fitting it with a new seal.
