Electric Aerial
Hi, has anyone replaced the stock aerial in a late Defender, 2008 on, with an electric one? If so was it successful? Which one would you recommend? Thanks.

there isn't room for a standard electric aerial , I looked at doing it as well , but you can get a aerial that has the motor separate and works on a cable I think one of the forum traders sale them

Mine is "standard" electrical one and it fit perfetly.

Now I'm in kuwait but the next weekend I'll take same pics.

The aerial is this one:

the telescopics pieces are made in stainless steel and very "heavy duty" made.....

but it needs same reworks to fit the Defender wings large aerial hole using same "old" parts taken from the original one
