Hi Cuthbert
Latrigg is just North of Keswick
That photo was taken from High Tilberthwaite, Little Langdale Tarn is just out of shot to the right and to the left is the bottom of Wrynose Pass. This is a photo I took from the same place of Little Langdale Tarn Click image to enlarge Cheers Ian -------------------- 22MY Defender 110 D200 SE, Fuji White. He will correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is the top end of High Tilberthwaite, coming down into Little Langdale.
The Latrigg I know is just the other side of the A66 from Keswick. I was in the Lakes this weekend just gone, did the Gatescarth Pass and a few others. Weather we had was a little more 'Cumbrian' though! Click image to enlarge |

Thanks boys for confirming the locations - I was getting seduced by all those sunshine pics - then the more typical Cumbrian weather pics appear. Either way that's what owning a Defender is all about.

I wish we had some decent green lanes, we just don't have the same opportunities to enjoy our Defenders etc. off road here, without being club members.
Great pics always interested in these types of threads. |

I need to have a chat as i spend a lot of time in Keswick where my folks live. I have not done any lanes though and have wanted to do the Latrigg run. I take it you start it in the car park where walkers park for Skiddaw? 1951 80" S1 2.0

Familymad, if you have a look at this map I have traced the lane in green over the centre of the map, it goes from the car park at NY281253 over to Wesco at NY304249. If you are going to do Latrigg you may as well do the Old Coach Road also, that goes from St John's in The Vale over towards Dockray
