United Kingdom 2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Stornoway Grey
Sad times :(
So I've had to move into London for work, which makes Defender insurance for a 22 year old unreasonably high...

So I've had to park it out on t'farm permanently and my 90 will now only be used as my weekend toy/runnaround in Herefordshire Sad

That said, I picked up a good little runner to get me from London to the Defender and back Whistle

Nice one mate, I'm the same age as you. Whistle
Glad to hear you've not sold it though, even as a play thing it will make you appreciate it even more. Thumbs Up
The Jag will probably be a bit quicker though. Laughing

Wait a minute, the increase in insurance was such that it was cheaper to buy a Jag and insure that instead? Rolling with laughter

Sadly for many young people up in Scotland and the North of England - the stark employment choice is - work for peanuts in a call centre reading out pre-prepared scripts, stagger about trying to find meaningful employment or move to London to better themselves.

At least you still have your Defender to soothe your spiritual wellbeing when you escape up North for some R&R. An old Jag wouldn't be my first choice of a car for London but hey ho each to their own!

Something similar with me, I work from home and my wife works in London, so she has bmw z4, 18i and I can rarely be seen in London.
