I've had a quick look at what's allowed as feedback and eBay will remove any links to another website, unfortunately, otherwise it would have been perfect, i'll just have to keep thinking of what to say in 80 characters.

Something like...

Avoid at all costs, seller backed out of deal, terrible, dishonest people.

I think that's 74

Unfortunately, on both occasions, they cancelled the transactions due to the goods not being available which meant Ebay removed the facility to leave feedback. I don't know whether it is the same now as I wouldn't waste my time with them.

At the moment it looks like I can leave feedback, the option is there to do so but not sure for how long, I'd be surprised if it was removed.

I've left feedback and managed to use all 80 characters, feel a bit better now.
Case closed as far as I'm concerned, it's a pity people like this are still in business - especially selling L/R's

I've just looked at what I think is the Ebay user for Berkshire Land Rover (berkshirelandroverltd) and the feedback is 100% positive for the last 12 months. I also notice that this user has no vehicles for sale other than a Peugeot 206 Convertible.

Can you confirm that this is the same Ebay user that listed the Disco you "won" and for which you left feedback?

Assuming that your feedback wasn't particularly favourable I don't understand why it hasn't shown up, unless this is a different user or BLR are running multiple Ebay user IDs.

I think they might have a pseudonym, maybe they've been rumbled, here is the link, their ebay user name is berkshirelandroverco

So there are two separate Ebay user IDs for BLR. What's Ebay's policy on multiple user IDs? I didn't think that they allowed this.

I love the feedback that was left for the latter ID in Dec 2012 - "I am happy as I discovered some faults on the car which were resolved by dealer." This rather suggests that if there hadn't been any faults the buyer would not have been happy! Wierdo.

Edit - Seems Ebay is OK with this:

There are many reasons why users would choose to have more than one eBay account. For example, users who like to buy and sell may want separate accounts for each activity. Other users who maintain businesses on eBay may prefer to manage separate accounts for different product lines.

Whether you have one account or more, eBay expects users to manage each of their accounts effectively in order to meet the highest buyer and seller standards. These standards and rules regarding performance, risk, and best practices are applicable for each account and help ensure a safe and positive experience on eBay.

Users are expected to resolve issues as they arise, and follow the steps provided by eBay to bring accounts back into good standing before continuing to buy or sell with other accounts. Learn more about how to increase limits on your account.

Make sure you follow these guidelines. If you don’t, you may be subject to a range of actions, including limits of your buying and selling privileges and suspension of your account.

I would never trust them after my unpleasant experience with them. I was buying a new LHD 110 from them. They assured me it was a UK/Europe model with full LR warranty/assistance and with a CoC. A few alarm bells starting ringing when prices and the specification on the invoice changed several times. Also delays in availability (even though I was previously told it was in their workshop). And then periods of not responding. So I called JLR who were very helpful and advised the vehicle was RoW spec built for Mongolia (!), with no warranty and no possibility of a CoC. They were not supposed to be selling it within Europe. BLR tried to convince me they were right and JLR were wrong, and then it took a bit of a battle to get my sizeable deposit returned. Never again!

Sorry to hear that other people have had bad experiences too, the longer this thread goes on, I'm sure more will come out of the woodwork, suffice to say I'll be giving them a wide birth. At least people on here and people doing searches might now know what they're up against.

Oooer! Maybe it was a lucky escape then!
They could be moving to larger premises so they can scam more punters.
