[Wanted] Goodyear Wrangler MTR 235/85/R16

Hi All,

After the unfortunate incident of my spare wheel being stolen in Bracknell I am in need of a Wrangler MTR tyre.

I am awaiting a call back from AJS but they only have 4 and not sure if they just want to sell as a set or individually. No problem there

I have a Sawtooth being delivered from Dan at Duckworth's as well as some locking wheel nuts.

So just wanted to see if anyone has one knocking around that they wouldn't mind sending my way.

2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Santorini Black

I've just had a slow puncture in mine. Had it fixed. Then it came back. Tyre visibly started going down driving to Wakefield (was hungry so going to do lunch then tyre). Anyway it didn't make it, went flat. 12v compressor out and put some air in it, went to tyre man a few yards away expecting it to be last week's repair not working only to find a small cut in the sidewall. Boy at tyre place said that's the problem, it looked tiny so, naturally, I didn't believe him so stuck my ignition key in the tiny cut which immediately deflated the tyre. Result, one decent MTR knackered because of a sidewall cut.

Anyway, rang my local garage, he said his supplier has 4 in this country after those the wait will be longer and price higher. Ordered and expecting to have it fitted when I get back to the uk middle of next week. £110 + vat fitted.

If you are stuck I think their supplier is micheldever tyres and my local garage is turner brothers in Holmfirth.
