I'm after a decent phone case for my Sony Xperia Z.
Ideally would love an Otterbox Defender, but alas 'they' don't make one for a Sony (yet)... (talking of Otterbox, anyone else had the devils own job trying to actually get hold of them? or sending them an email? I try to fill in the online questionaire form and it doesn't work properly ) anyway, anyone got any good suggestions? I want more than just a rubber outer skin that costs 99p delivered from Hong Kong, Was looking at the Case-Mate, which seems similar (although not as tough?) as the Otterbox. Someone suggested to me today the RoxFit, but these just seem to be a leather fold open type case (like i've got now) or the cheapo gel type. Any ideas? |

Or purchase a Nokia and you don't need a case at all!

I was waiting for just that comment from you Walford!! Some of us can't help being "setters", not "followers".... That survivor case looks the dogs danglies doesn't it? bit like the Otterbox. I just pinged them an email to see if they do a Sony one.... would seem all these companies are behind the curve when it comes to offering cases for the super duper xperia... |

Lifeproof for me. Fully waterproof, = dust proof. But don't know if they make for your model phone.

I have an Otterbox on my HTC and it has been excellent. I also have a Sonim rugged phone which has served me well for years, and has survived many drops, immersions, Swarfega washes, and even being chewed by a wolf! It is the only phone I know that has survived the latter form of attack (iPhones certainly don't) but I appreciate that it isn't an everyday risk for most people.

I have had tech21 D30 cases for my Galaxy S4 & S4mini and they are fantastic. Have dropped the phone on concrete a few times with no damage. Only problem is (as with most cases) make the phone a lot more bulky. But I find the tech21 case helps prevent the phone slipping out of your hand.
