Just come indoors at 2am having watched nature's fireworks at their finest.
The storm started about midnight over Brighton (10 miles away) slowly spread inland to us. Almost constant airial and ground lightning. Sounded like a nonstop artilery bombardment.
Just sat in the garden with a bottle of scotch watched it happen.
I love living on a hill with a great view.

Those fantastic cracks where you see the flash and then like a whip through the air less than a second afterwards. Such power really does remind you that we are passengers on this planet.
