Back from the powder coaters, apart from finding some black bolts and washers shes finished
1 shelf 
2 shelf
And the A4?map holder too

the roddent goes into the cage and its connected by the cable to the left of the cage to a power locking device 
I knew either you or fekete would comment after I saw the 'other' items in my picture |

Does look a great job! Have you taken it for a spin to make sure it doesn't rattle or have you factored that in to the build so it doesn't? If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Does not rattle with normal driving to and from work etc. Did some lanes in wales inc Happy valley with no shelves but with the side baskets installed and no rattles. had there been rattles then I would have used some old bike innertube between metal to metal or a rubber gasket of some sort. The shelves are not 'fitted' i think this is the case with the Mantec one, thats why CIBIT 'I think' uses ratched straps. the shelves will move eventually off road, so I will either use short bungies or small ratchet straps from the original D tie downs up to the shelf. Thats for the time being. I have already factored in a way to bolt the shelves to the basket frame work, but this would mean unbolting each time, but I have the option

a home job, not in the business, just a hobbiest. Was looking at purchasing the Mantec one which I believe is now discontinued but that requires drilling into the arches to fit and circa £300, which I have now saved and I was going to put to a ram mount but I made a map holder which saved me a few more quid not considered putting it to open market Jim due to the time it takes with the home set up I have. If there were a few people intrested in the Map holder I could do half a dozen. I used mine all weekend and it was spot on
Sonic, after seeing Higgers navigating on his PC at the weekend I am 100% going to get a set up, waiting to see an IPAD in action first.
