I got a nextbase dvd player from Halfords . its the click and go one so just slides out of mount when not needed
and I cant fault it, been really good we even take it out the defender and use it in the b&b (plug it in to tele ) when we go away and you can buy a extra mount to use in another car search google for nextbase website as I don't think Halfords do the click and go ones now know what you mean about ipad , I tried it , don't like apple stuff anyway , don't like being tied to apple iTunes, having to buy it on disc and iTunes ,doesn't stop when you do , little fingers on the screen I looked for what I would call a good make one , had a look at roof ones (but wanted one to use in other cars as well) looked at the built in headrest ones cheap cr@p or over priced nothing inbetween looked at the rosen ones they looked cr@p made and too many wires |

Cool, nextbase were the main candidates for me. Only question I have about them is that the thing that attaches them to the headrest seems to require the more typical two metal poles whereas the defender has one single metal 'shaft' for the headrests. How does this work?
P.s my thoughts on Apple exactly! Michael was just telling me a story about a friend of his who slept with a land rover, lonely nights in the desert.. |

ah yes I got the two post seats
not sure if they do single post mounts but think they do a strap on type one for headrests just had look at mine and don't think it would fit the single post seats without cutting off the twin mount and making a single post mount ,but the power runs though the mount so you would have to plug lead into dvd player |
