Anyone else getting annoyed with the constant dull hum of those bloody horns that the sith africaans are blowing?

It sounds like a swarm of bees around the bloody commentary microphone? Evil or Very Mad

They were talking about those on BBC's breakfast TV this morning, and said that they'd soon become annoying. I'm sure they would if I was interested in football. That said I've drawn Brazil (yeay for me) in the works sweepstake, so I may well watch a game. Peter

South Africa ponders vuvuzela ban after complaints :

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/w...737455.stm

Lionel Messi are among those who dislike the tremendous noise of vuvuzelaene.
- It is impossible to communicate with teammates. . Because of the noise is as if you are deaf, "he said after the 1-0 win against Nigeria.

The captain Javier Mascherano complained of noise.
Football is also about communication, and the sound of vuvuzelaene makes it difficult to talk to teammates, he said. (©NTB) (© NTB)

I'm surprised that they can't filter them out of the live broadcast. They have a pretty predictable frequency range.

You'd then just have to pipe over some old recordings of football matches to bring back the atmostphere. Thumbs Up One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS
