To redress the balance and show some are getting caught and prosecuted:
Dale Middleton, 25, of no fixed abode, was charged with burglary, theft of a Land Rover, attempted GBH, dangerous driving, disqualified driving and no insurance. John Grange-Smith, 27, of Richardson Rise, Gainsborough, was charged with burglary, theft of a Land Rover and possession of cannabis. Jake Turner, 18, also of Richardson Rise, Gainsborough, was charged with burglary, theft of a Land Rover, theft of a Nissan Micra and driving offences. No you are all wrong, it will end up with mitigation that the owner of the said Land Rover is culpable of allowing the crime because he owned the vehicle and did not take necessary steps to secure his home against burglary and the theft of keys.
He will be jailed for three years and have to pay the three previously honest gentlemen compensation for stress and the trauma of arrest and injury; he will also be forced to sell his home to pay for the damage to the police cars. Furthermore he will be forced to compensate Lincoln County Hospital for the cost of treatment for the accused. At the end of the trial the Judge will award the three wrongly blamed individuals a significant award out of public funds for bringing this negligent Land Rover owner to the attention of the relevant authorities. |

Pretty much sums up people attitude towards the 'justice system'.... It doesn't matter how bad it is, It can always get worse...
