I was a young private back in the 80s and I drove one of these around the Falklands. It is cramped but it gives you a great perspective when off road as you sit over the steering axle. My next project will either be one of these or a lightweight

Memories of being a Gun Bunny on Salisbury Plain & Sennybridge, praying that it would start!
We used to leave them running in the end - we weren't paying for the fuel I'd have one in a heartbeat although quite what I would do with it??? Reminds me of my dream garage that contains all the 1980s schoolboy exotics - Countach, Ferrari 328 etc. mate of mine was desperate for a Capri & then bought one (2.8i) drunk playing eBay chicken, we then sat in it & flogged it straight away - awful car by today's standards! Enough rambling - sorry! Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? 2015 110 XS UW sadly stolen 21/11/2017 |
