Hi Familymad
got to ask if you don't mind why did you sell your Defender and what's next on the list? Steve |

Hi Fella,
Sure, have a close buddy who's business failed through no fault of his own. He had a debt of £18k and the banks were treating him like &@££. He tried to take his own life and last week myself and my wife decided to step in. Can always buy another a Defender but can't replace him! Cashed it in and gave Natwest a cheque to pay his debt. I am now back into my 1964 as my Heathrow daily hack. Kind of missing the air con though Killer, the 300TDI will have to wait a little longer! 1951 80" S1 2.0 1995 110 300TDI 1995 90 300TDI |

Kudos Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

Simon a selfless act of generosity
Out of interest did it go to a dealer or a private sale, summer is never quite the best time to sell, at least you have a few LR's left. Bank that can only start another rant 2020 P300 HSE |

Hi,
I had 3 dealers offering on it off Pistonheads. Max they offered was £25500 but all then asked what I wanted when the answer was no. Er .... Its in the advert?! Sold private to a guy new to a Defenders. He will love her. 1951 80" S1 2.0 1995 110 300TDI 1995 90 300TDI |
