Get hold of your dealer and get the modified pipe and bracket fitted.
There have been a number of attempts by LR to resolve this issue but the latest one seems to work. Mine was done a few weeks ago when it was in for a diff seal leak. It is not a safety recall and will only be done automatically when the vehicles next in the workshop. In Aus we are actually getting recall notices for this modification, I got mine on friday. Shame it wasn't a few weeks ago when it was in the dealer having a few other jobs done.
Its good to see a decent fix for the issue this time around. Mick |
