Limp home... For 550 miles!
Yup, on the way home through France from a couple of weeks in the Pyrenees and up pops the landy equivalent of a 'blue screen'. Engine management light on and only 550 miles to go Evil or Very Mad grrrrrr

It cleared but promptly returned the following day with limp home mode kicking in on every incline.

Wasn't brave enough to call land rover assistance as had the tunnel to catch and didn't want to risk a long, drawn-out roadside wait, so crawled on.

Good job really as I arrived home in my 2014 defender on Saturday evening, called LR assistance at 8am on Sunday who eventually arrived at 4pm. Photo of their computer diagnostic attached, no cause identified, fault cleared only to reoccur two mins down the road. So I am now with a shiny, brand new disco with delivery miles only, which I actually quite like, and my five dogs love the leather seats Whistle whilst LR diagnose the mysterious problem.

After driving a D4 even when you get the 110 back fixed it will feel like permanent limp home.

That SdV6 D4 engine is awesome Thumbs Up

( I've heard it's even faster in a rental car)

Sad but true... It's a proper powerhouse, and right through the rev range, pulls like a train, I want to transplant it into my defender!! Though I did get it down to just 4mpg today, the novelty of which would soon wear off! It's also soooo comfortable. I had a td5 xs disco years ago, but this thing is a different animal altogether. I have a sneaky suspicion however that I wouldn't love it as much or for so long as I do a defender.

I love my 110 but it's not left the driveway since we picked our D4 up

Different world.

Hope you get your 110 sorted
