My Rebuild
Well here goes.

"George" is a 1984 early LR 90 and has spent the last few years as a chicken farm hack before I took delivery yesterday.

Here are a few pictures.

There is a bit of work required to get it back on the road not least the rear cross member but having given it a blast with the jet wash I can see the front outrigger is in need of replacement.

Interior needs a bit of a clean too but want to do one bit at a time.

Pictures will follow of what I do but have just found the reason it was so bouncy on the maiden voyage.... It has no bottom bushes at the bottom of the front shocks!

Hi Boris,

The truck is very original which is why I cant decide exactly what to do with it. I had planned to get it running and then stick a new engine in it but because its such an original truck it seems a shame to not keep it original.

It's not 100% original as it has a defender sticker on the front not a Land rover 90 sticker like my 90 td5. Shocked

Wow, you got deluxe seats, my C reg 110 truck cab that I had back in the '80's still had Series style seats in, the types that bounce around the cab when you drove over a cats eye in the road!

Well over the last few months I've fitted a few more goodies including a raptor dash panel but have now taken most of the bits off again as it's going in to be repainted. Watch this space Smile
