I know one on your list and I wouldn't leave mine with them. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

What they don't advertise too well is the servicing price match, even an independent so long as it's a like for like servicing using genuine parts

Have trawled the web and can't find anything about this. Some dealers, not all mind, offer like for like pricing on servicing, but it certainly does not appear to be a Landrover nationwide policy. Anyone tell me different? |

Guava in Guildford are good, had my FL2 and RRSport done there & they'll do my Defender when I get one. They offer 15% off for forum members and James, head of service is a good genuine guy!

Yes it seems so, apologies. When I last took it in for a service it was on virtually all dealers webpage under servicing however when searching, there are now only a small number who offer it.
I would still think that any dealer would match another's dealer quoted service price though, certainly have with me. |

Urban myths are as the title says..... If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

A13x's post reads as if they are obliged to match the price as if its a JLR pan dealership promotion, which it isn't.

Not to me it doesn't.....from my experience and his statement "even an independant" it means that they may even match the independant's price.....they did exactly that for me on two occasions two seperate dealers.
It probably depends on ambient pressure of the day, which way the wind is blowing and how their mood is on the day. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |
