Why not bung a Disco / RR / FL sharkfin on the roof? Should fit nicely on the slope at the front, without increasing overall height.. ... ,-------,

Bear in mind with above you only have two options, offset or twin.
You cannot have a centralised one due to support rib in the centre.. |

Well you could have it centred if you drill through the rib and then add a couple of strengthening plates either side of the rib Russell

Is the radio aerial in the fin..?
On my D4 I thought the radio aerials were the wires in the two rear side windows. I always thought it was the GPS aerial in the fin..? But clearly I've no real idea..

with the sharks fin radio aerial they are normally amplified , so you need to have power up there as well
you can get cheap ones that are not amplified but guess they would not work very well |

The whole idea was to not have to drill another hole for antenna
I may as well replace the stock antenna in the original position and mount the CB on the rear using a PSM-1 mount |

There is internal stick on, usually on the glass but they can often differ in quality.
