My (re)build thread
After some time sitting as a pile of parts, it's time I started to get my 90 finished...

I bought this four years ago


Then decided after a year the chassis was too rusty and the bulkhead was the same.

So then a friend started dismantling it....and kindly left me with a pile of bits, boxes of bolts and wires all jumbled up with no indication as to what bolt went where....he was not popular for doing this...

For three years some small works have occurred, but basically I have a chassis, with a bulkhead and some axles, the running gear is also 'in' but I am not happy with it. More on that later.

The chassis was a very nice TD5 chassis that I have fabricated V8 engine mounts for.

So bit by bit, hopefully with lot of help from you guys, I will document the build here. I need a LOT of bits and lots of bolts. I have a stainless body bolts kit from Brendan.

It's now my intention as there has been such a delay until now, to build the thing as quickly as possible so that it goes, can be MOT'd and run as a spare car - I will THEN bit by bit do more restoration work and very probably return the car to standard spec except the ARB lockers. The car is a genuine CSW and I hope worth something in standard trim with some very subtle improvements like discs all round, ARB lockers, extensive sound proofing and probably some other stuff we can discuss later. V8 90...WIP

the first issue on putting it back together is the steering box which I know leaked fluid before and so needs replacing. Does anybody have any suggestions or advice regarding replacement please? V8 90...WIP

The rear tub is laying on it, not fixed yet, no springs either so it goes in the garage with the sides and roof on... V8 90...WIP

Nowt. Sprogs birthday trip Saturday, and relaxing day Sunday.. Getting the bike out and cleaning it was to ease my mind.. I am lacking speed back in my life, I need to do a track day soon! Seven years since I rode her.... V8 90...WIP

So OK - I have got precisely nowhere on this rebuild in the last few glorious weeks - to much other stuff on.... I am now seeking somebody to build it back up for me... V8 90...WIP
