1984 Defender 110 300 Tdi SW Alveston Red

Temp guage. V8 -300tdi

Hi all

I am almost done my V8 to 300tdi swap. It seems my temp guage is working "normally" once the engine rins for 5-10 min. I thought i was going to need a new dash guage. Does this make sense? No change needed?

Can anyone confirm the engine running temp on a 300tdi
