If you fit a 200tdi, it will be easier, as the engine mounts for the NA are in the correct place for a 200.
The 300 you will need to weld new mounts onto the chassis. 1998 110 300Tdi White Hard Top |

200Tdi is much easer to drop in as the engine mounts are the same and it just mates straight up to the gearbox. There are lots of conversions out there, most notable is Steve Parker.
300Tdi is much more difficult as you have to change the engine mounts on the chassis. |

200 is easier if you have a def engine, still easier to do with a disco lump, see threads here i did a while ago
http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=2394 all you need to know to do it ^^^^ but you may need to register. i am same user name on there. http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=18285 think about exhaust outlet and air inlet setups. with availability you may want to go 300tdi. disco and def lumps are the same, its a good lump, just means new chassis mounts to weld on.
