As JST says there is to a certain extent. I led a very active life in the Army due to my role and position. I spent a
Most 6 yrs teaching, but it was a practical subject so a lot of time doing practicle rather than theory. Since leaving the Army I have a small contract supervising the H&S for 50+ Engrs for a small family run business. I hate being at my desk. I'd rather be out doing site visits. And it is that reason why I can't understand anyone who would leave an active job and go sit in an office all day. I'm not bitter about failing selection to go to Sandhurst via the RCB system. I'd say more disappointed at the time. As it turns out I had a brilliant career with the rank and file. And saw some great places doing a job I loved. Which set me up for my first big contract outside the wire. 110 D250 SE HT 110 USW SOLD RRE HSE Dynamic Gone, wife killed it VOLVO XC60 R Dynamic with some toys Polaris RZR 900XP SOLD |
