Getting a bit political now, are we!!
You are right we should have gone with Spain some time ago as no benefit and an embarrasment being British Gibraltar - the MOD can't even stand up to the Guardia Civil!!! Anyway - good banter JLS 'El Pepe Flamenco' |

I agree the MOD couldn't even stand up to their own reflection! Their procurement department have never got it right in all the time I've served! Gibraltar was good strategically in the past but let's face it it's only a rock with enough tunnels in it to make it resemble a Swiss cheese, it also used to be clad in corrugated tin to collect rainwater for the unwashed!
It serves no purpose now apart from a monkey sanctury for a load of thieving chimps! You used to be able to fill your fuel tank on the cheap there though! No wonder you got a second home and a strong desire to travel! Just to keep it on topic I can see absolutely no justification in shelling out for any form of performance upgrade in ether Gibraltar or London, in both locats getting out of third gear must be a struggle! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Thought you might have been an undesirable squady! Not liked by the Navy!
Most that are posted to Gib is because they are not much use in the front or elsewhere. You obviously haven't been to Gib lately, but you wouldn't recognise it due to the locals and not the British with a bouyant economy (better than Uk). Anyway better stop this banter as we are starying away for LR issues - good to banter with you and 'your twin' - have fun! El pepe flamenco PS: As a british citizen you now need to apply for a visa to visit Gib now JLS 'El Pepe Flamenco' |
